The fire in the tribe's forge never went out. We were forging a website meant to be more than a business card: our camp, notice board, chronicle and raid headquarters in one. Today we can say it out loud — the Dark Tribe website is mostly done. Time to celebrate a little!
If you are just getting to know us: Dark Tribe is a Horde guild with a tradition going back to 30 July 2006. We started on Burning Legion (EU), and now we are returning on WoW Forever — Roleplaying PvP (EU). We play progressive RP-PvP: we develop our characters and their stories, set out on expeditions together and stand up for the Horde. Below is a guided tour of what awaits you — with pictures.
How to join us
All you need is a Battle.net account — no new password and no e-mail address. Sign in, send a short application, we will talk on Discord, and once you are accepted your account gets access to the members' area by itself.
The “Join” page always shows who the tribe needs most. The site works it out from the roster, so the list is always up to date. Other classes and roles are welcome too — what counts is the character and the will to play.
The tribe and your character
Every member has a character card: portrait, race, class and specialisation, level, professions, a quote — plus appearance, personality and history, a real place for RP. Names shine in class colours, just like in the game.
The “Members” page shows the tribe's roster — how many tanks, healers and DPS we have and of which classes — and who in the tribe knows which craft.
Expeditions: events, raids and groups
Sign up for an event with one click — “Going” or “Not going” — right from “My account”, and add your sign-ups to the calendar on your phone.
Every raid shows who's going, split into tanks, healers and DPS. The officer sets the line-up, splits it into groups and hands out tasks, so before you go in you know where you stand and what to do. And when you are short of people for a dungeon or PvP — any member can start a group, no need to wait for an officer.
Raids, DKP and loot
After a raid the officer ticks who was there and which bosses fell, and the site adds up the DKP by itself. Loot is recorded with the raid — hover over an item and you get a tooltip just like in the game. In the “Tribe DKP” table every member can check their own balance and everyone else's.
On the wishlist you note what you are saving points for and see right away who else is after the same item. When the item drops for you, the wish is ticked off by itself. Raids on WoW Forever start on 9 December — we will be ready.
Your account and crafting
“My account” is your dashboard: upcoming events with quick sign-up, your DKP and what is waiting for you — orders for your professions, for example.
Need potions, a weapon or a bag? Place an order — crafters with that profession will see it and take it on, and you can check its status in your account. Everything works on your phone too, in a dark theme that is easy on the eyes after a late-night raid.
The tribe's saga
Dark Tribe is not just raids. In the “Legend” we wrote down where we came from, our oath and the tribe's hierarchy. The orcish glossary gives you phrases for RP, and orcish runes wander all over the site — a different one in the footer every day.
In “History” you will find the Veterans' wall: if you remember Dark Tribe from Burning Legion, leave your memory there. There are also Chronicles of our expeditions, a screenshot Gallery and a Forum for members.
Behind the scenes: the site in numbers
We built the site ourselves, for our tribe: two languages, Battle.net sign-in and a panel where officers write news, chronicles and page texts themselves. No ads.
It came out of the tribe's forge — and we are proud of it.
WoW Forever launches on 5 November at 00:00 Polish time. Character name reservation runs until 3 November — claim your name before someone else does.
The site keeps growing: we are filling in some texts before launch, and more ideas are waiting in the forge. If something does not work or you have an idea — message the officers on Discord or post on the forum.
See you in Azeroth. Lok'tar ogar!
